This Whole Wheat Jaggery Cake is one of those recipes that feels like a warm slice of goodness. I first tried it on a quiet afternoon when I was craving something sweet, but wanted to keep things a little healthier. With no refined sugar and just the wholesome goodness of jaggery and whole wheat flour, it turned out to be the perfect balance of tasty and nourishing. It’s soft, slightly dense, and has that deep, caramel-like flavor that only jaggery powder can bring.
It is a perfect guilt free recipe to make for people who are on a diet, clean eaters or those aiming to take their lifestyle to an organic side and especially people who have hormonal issues like diabetes or insulin resistance but still crave something sweet.
Over time, it’s become a go-to in my kitchen something I bake when I need a little pick-me-up or when I want to share something simple and homemade with friends and family. I hope it brings the same cozy joy to your home as it does to mine.
Made with the freshness of whole wheat and the rich and delectable jaggery powder, the perfect treat for clean eaters, diabetics and people who are trying to lose weight while still having a treat here and there.
