Whole Wheat Banana Bread

This whole wheat banana bread recipe is a guilt-free version of your favorite winter dessert, which makes it delicious and healthy, hence totally justifiable to have a banana bread loaf all by yourself on a winter night.

Banana bread

Ingredients:

  • Medium sized bananas 3
  • Eggs 2
  • Jaggery powder 3/4 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1 Tsp
  • Oil 1/3 cup
  • Milk 1/3 cup
  • Whole-wheat flour 1 cup
  • Baking powder 1 Tsp
  • Baking soda 1/4 Tsp
  • Salt 1/4 Tsp
  • Dark Chocolate (Chopped) 1/4 cup

How-to-Make:

  1. Mash three ripe bananas in a bowl and add two eggs and whisk everything well.
  2. Add in Jaggery powder 3/4 cup and Vanilla essence 1 tsp and whisk until it forms a smooth paste.
  3. Now add in your whole-wheat flour through a sifter and add baking powder and baking soda in the mixture.
  4. Combine everything well with a spatula and add some chopped dark chocolate to enhance the taste even more.
  5.  Prepare a loaf or cake mould with parchment paper and grease it with butter or oil, and add in your banana bread mixture.
  6. Add some of the chopped chocolate on top and bake it in the oven or a stove pan for 25-35 minutes.
  7. Serve warm with ice cream, or coffee. And Enjoy!
